Fatal Seward Accident


SEWARD, Neb. (AP) - A 22-year-old passenger has been killed and another injured in a rollover crash west of Seward.
 
 

Offutt To Identify Remains of Missing Soldiers


OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. (AP) - A forensics lab has opened at Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha with a special mission: identify the remains of missing soldiers, sailors and airmen from past wars.

 

Albright Found Not Guilty of Murder



Jurors have found a man not guilty in the stabbing death of a man last August. A Lancaster County jury on Monday found Joshua Albright not guilty of murder. Albright had been charged in the death of 30-year-old Benjamin Miller. Police say the confrontation was about a woman both men dated. Miller was stabbed 23 times in the fight on August 10th, with the jury finding that Albright acted in self defense. 
Two Nebraska based organizations receive federal grant funding
More than a half-million dollars in federal grants is heading to Nebraska. 2nd District Congressman Lee Terry the money will benefit two programs that are headquartered in Omaha. Sen. Lautenbaugh sentenced to house arrest for drunk driving
State Sen. Scott Lautenbaugh of Omaha has been sentenced to two days in jail and one year’s probation for driving drunk in late February.
