The roster turnover continues for Nebrasketball coach Fred Hoiberg.
After losing six scholarship players from his first group in Lincoln and Teddy Allen before this season had ended, three more left the program Monday. Sophomores Yvan Ouedraogo and Akol Arop and freshman Elijah Wood all entered the transfer portal.

“Everyone in our program appreciates Akol, Yvan and Elijah’s contributions to our program, especially over the past year during the pandemic,” Hoiberg said. “I have enjoyed coaching all of them and will support them as they finish the spring semester and begin the process of looking at other schools. I wish them the best in the future.”
Ouedraogo saw his minutes decline as the season progressed due to the emergence of transfer Derrick Walker along with freshman Eduardo Andre. Wood played sparingly in his only season in Lincoln. Arop was sidelined for his sophomore season with an injury prior to the year beginning.
Their departures open up three more scholarships for Hoiberg and company to use before next season.
