Finishing last in the conference has never led to many postseason awards, and that was the case when the Big Ten announced all-conference honors Tuesday.
Teddy Allen was the lone Husker selected to any of the All-Big Ten teams, earning honorable mention from conference media. Allen averaged a team-high 16.5 points per game over his 22 games. He announced his departure from the program on March 1.
Also honored Tuesday was Thorir Thorbjarnarson, who is Nebraska’s nominee for the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
The Huskers open Big Ten Tournament action Wednesday evening against Penn State.
