A Lincoln man faces a long list of charges after going on a crime spree that included two car dealerships, a stolen truck and a convenience and grocery store.

Lincoln Police say on February 27th just before 2pm, police were called to the parking lot of Anderson Ford at 2500 Wildcat Drive on a report of a hit and run accident that just occurred.  A witness reported that a white Ford F250 had hit a parked car and left the area.

A few minutes later, officers were dispatched to Dillon’s Auto at 6401 N 28th Street on a white Ford F250 driving erratically in the lot.  The truck struck five vehicles and drove away from the area.

The total dollars in damage is nearly $15,000.

Officers learned that the vehicle involved in these incidents had been stolen earlier in the day from the 2700 block of S 13th Street.

Around 2:45 pm, officers were called to the Super C at 3202 S 10th Street on a robbery that just occurred.  The clerk, a 21-year-oldwoman, reported that a man driving a white Ford F250 approached the counter to pay for a bag of chips.  As soon as she opened the drawer he reached in and took money from the register.  The clerk struggled with the man as she tried to close the drawer.  Ultimately, the man left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Approximately 10 minutes later, police were called to the Russ’s Market at 1709 Washington on a theft that had just occurred.

The cashier, a 55-year-oldwoman, reported that a man came up to her register to purchase a lighter.  When the cash drawer opened, the man came from behind her and pushed her out of the way and took an undisclosed amount of money from the drawer.  The man left the area driving a white Ford F250.

Officers located the vehicle in the area of 13th and Peach street and citizens in the area waved down officers and said they saw the man run behind a residence.  As officers were searching the area, they saw a citizen running and yelling after a man who matched the description of the person they were looking for.  Neighbors in the area assisted officers by communicating with the man and notifying officers of his location.  Officers chased the man who was eventually taken into custody without further incident minutes after call to the Russ’s Market.

Officers were able to review video from these incidents which showed the same man officers had in custody.  Urich Clark, 34-year-old, was arrested for two outstanding arrest warrants, Robbery, felony Theft by Receiving, Shoplifting, Disturbing the Peace, and two counts of Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
