LNK Recall announced today that their effort to recall the mayor and several city council members has fallen short. A news release from the group said the recall of Mayor Baird was thousands of signatures short and hundreds short for most of the targeted council members. Signatures were due by 5 p.m. today. LNK Recall, which began their campaign on November 23rd, now plans to shift their attention to primary and general election challenges, as well as, the launch of a second recall.
