Nebraska-Minnesota set for 11 a.m. Kickoff

By News Dec 6, 2020 | 2:42 PM

Nebraska’s final regularly scheduled game is set for an 11 a.m. kickoff Saturday, December 12.

Every Saturday game played for Nebraska in 2020 has kicked off at that time. Wisconsin canceled the week two matchup that was slated for 2:30 p.m., and the Iowa game kicked off at noon on Black Friday.

The Huskers host the Golden Gophers. Minnesota did not play their game this past weekend due to COVID-19 cases within the program. Minnesota coach PJ Fleck has said he and his team plan to play in Lincoln, even if they bring less than optimal numbers.

The Big Ten is still planning to play crossover games December 18 and 19, though no word has come down how the games outside of the championship will be handled. There is a chance that home sites could be used, meaning Nebraska could potentially have another home game remaining after hosting Minnesota.
