Lincoln Police are investigating a burglary at D’Bat at 1115 Libra Drive on Monday at 4:30 a.m. Police were sent to an alarm going off and they found an open door in the retail of the business that also operates batting cages.
As officers checked the building they found bats, baseball clothing and other items strewn about the store. The owner took inventory and reported at least five wooden bats had been taken and would continue to look for more missing items to compile a complete list.
Police searched the area and will look at security video from the store to help identify suspects.
