The Department of Health and Human Services was notified that a whistleblower complaint was filed against Saint Francis Ministries. Additionally, the Department was informed that the Board of Directors for Saint Francis Board has launched an internal investigation due to the allegation of mismanagement at the organization.
William Clark, chief of staff, has been appointed interim CEO. It is anticipated that the investigation will take approximately 20 days.
DHHS will fully cooperate with the investigation and expects to receive information upon its completion, which will serve to inform the Department on potential next steps. Ensuring the necessary supports are in place to support children and families remains the top priority for DHHS.
