By News Oct 28, 2020 | 10:20 AM

A woman is recovering and a man is behind bars after police were called to a domestic disturbance around 1 a.m. on October 25th at a home east of Antelope Park.

When an officer arrived a 28 year old female, came running at the officer.  The officer saw a male running after her and when he saw the cruiser he ran away from them.  The officer could see that she was very frightened and she said she feared for her life.  The officer alerted other officers in the area to assist in trying to locate the man, however, he was not located at that time.

The victim reported that the man,  who she had a previous relationship with,  had been sending her threatening text messages and showed up at her work earlier in the day.  Later that night, the woman heard a loud bang like someone trying to break through the door to her residence.  She was in so much fear she hid and called police immediately.  The woman stated that man entered her bedroom, physically and sexually assaulted her.  The officer observed injuries to the woman consistent with her account of the assault.  During the assault the woman’s 2 year old child was asleep in a separate room, however, this information was known to the man.

The victim was able to identify the male as Allen Busby, 32 year old male, as the person responsible.  A neighbor in the area contacted police and stated that a male was seen walking through her back yard after officers contacted the victim.  Officers were able to view the security video from the residence showing Busby entering the yard through a locked fence and then leaving during the time officers were searching for him.

On October 27th just after 2pm, officers located Busby at Kawasaki Motors at 6600 NW 27th Street and he was taken into custody.  Busby was arrested for 1st Degree Sexual Assault, Burglary, 3rd Degree Domestic Assault, Child Abuse, and Criminal Trespass.
