Out of an abundance of caution due to Sunday’s weather forecast and for the safety or our participants, survivors, staff and volunteers, the 20th Anniversary Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Drive-Thru event scheduled for October 25th, has been canceled. The organization is disappointed they will not be able to UNITE on Sunday and they still want to celebrate survivors.
They have secured a location where they can still pick up gift bags, socially distanced and a safe place for participants to drop off donations.
That location is Cornhusker Bank at 6100 Apples Way on Monday, October 26th from 3 until 5 p.m. and Tuesday, October 27th from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Please park on the south end of the west parking lot row on the south side of the building and not directly in front of the bank entrance.
20 years in the fight against breast cancer is something this community should be proud of. Progress is being made because of your commitment. We look forward to the celebration of 21 years in Lincoln which is scheduled for Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Holmes Lake Park.
