A man incarcerated is accused of trying to get someone on the outside to sell narcotics and a firearm still inside his home. 28 year old Aaron Ward was arrested on October 10th and has been in jail since. Investigators were given consent to search his home at 7th and Washington around 1 that afternoon.
Inside they found 29 grams of marijuana in a jar with a street value of $500. They also found 137 suspected ecstasy tablets with a $550 street value and a loaded 9mm handgun in the closet of his bedroom.
Ward was then contacted at the jail and arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Firearm During a Felony Drug Violation.
