A 13-year-old girl confided in a School Resource Officer that she was being sexually assaulted at home. That officer contacted Lincoln Police investigators and the Child Advocacy Center.
The victim told them that a man had been sexually assaulting her between August and October of 2020.
Officers questioned 37-year-old James Grant and investigators developed probable cause to believe that he’d been sexually assaulting the girl.
Grant was booked for 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.
