2 Wind Advisories Sunday Afternoon Through Early Monday Morning

…WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING…

…WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM CDT MONDAY…

For the first Wind Advisory, south winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts around 45 mph.

For the second Wind Advisory, northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

The Advisories cover portions of east central, northeast and southeast Nebraska and west central Iowa.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

These advisories cover the following counties and cities in Nebraska and Iowa:  Monona-Thurston-Cuming-Burt-Colfax-Dodge-Washington-Butler- Saunders-Seward-Lancaster- Including the cities of Onawa, Mapleton, Pender, Macy, Walthill, Winnebago, West Point, Wisner, Tekamah, Oakland, Lyons, Decatur, Schuyler, Fremont, Blair, David City, Wahoo, Ashland, Yutan, Seward, Milford, and Lincoln
