A Lincoln man is accused of paying money to have sex with two 15 year old girls that were being trafficked within the city of Lincoln.
The first incident happened June 17th. Investigators looked at phone messages between 30 yea rold Luis Alvarez and the teens. Alvarez is accused of approaching one of the teens and made an agreement with a male associate to have sex with her for money.
On a separate date. Alvarez made an agreement and paid money to have sex with another teen but that arrangement didn’t work out. The teen reported she became frightened during the interaction and left in Alvarez’s vehicle to get away.
Alvarez came to LPD headquarters on Saturday. Investigators were able to corroborate details from the victim’s statements and Alvarez who was then arrested for 1st degree sexual assault of a child and attempted 1st degree sexual assault of a child.
