Lancaster County Records 20th COVID-19 Death

The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department today announced that a 20th resident has died from COVID-19 in Lincoln.  The individual was a man in his 60’s who was hospitalized.  Mayor Gaylor Baird expressed condolences to his family and friends on behalf of the City.

Thirty-four lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Lancaster County today, bringing the community total to 3,741.

The positivity rate for Lancaster County remains at 6.7%.  The Nebraska rate is 9.4% and the national rate is 9%.

Twenty-three people are hospitalized in Lancaster County.

 Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.  If you have symptoms, please get tested.
