A 13 year old girl accused of stealing a neighbor’s pickup Sunday from an area near 176th and Pine Lake has been located.
Sheriff Terry Wagner says the girl was located safe in Sioux City. The pickup was also located in a parking lot in that town.
The girl took off when she spotted deputies and they did not give chase due to wet weather conditions. The girl will be brought back to Lancaster County to face the consequences of her actions. She has a history of auto theft and running away.
