#LNK City Council Approves Liquor Licenses For Businesses To Expand Services

By News Jul 28, 2020 | 6:39 AM

Three area Lincoln businesses will be able to expand their businesses outside due to the city council approving different exceptions to liquor licenses.

The Lancaster Event Center added 127 acres to its license to hold more concerts like the recent Garth Brooks Event.

“We’re looking to have more events out there to drive more tourism dollars to Lincoln and visitors to come into our city.  We think this is a good move for us and Lincoln,” Says Hoyt Kraeger with the organization.

They will no longer be limited to 12 special designated licenses.  This does not include their parking lot.

This is separate from the special designated license bars and restaurants can apply for.

Duffy’s Tavern on O street and Buffalo Rings and Wings at Village Lane can expand services to their parking lots thanks to Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird’s decision to allow businesses to expand to nearby spaces.

The two licenses expire on September 30.
