52 New COVID-19 Cases In Lancaster County Monday

Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department reports  52 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Lincoln Monday, bringing the community total to 2,482.  The number of deaths in the community remains at 14.

The Health Department reports 817 people have recovered.   The Lancaster County positivity rate is 6.6%.  The Nebraska positivity rate is down from 9.8% to 9.7%.  The national rate remains at 9.6%.
There are currently 21 people hospitalized.  Fifteen are from Lancaster County and six from other communities.
 Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.  Health officials recommend testing if you are experiencing any of these symptoms.
