An arrest is made in the shooting death of 48-year-old Adolfo Aguado Monday at 13th and Washington Street.
Lincoln Police Chief Jeff Bliemeister says investigators determined after speaking with witnesses that there had been an argument between Aguado and his 21-year-old son, Adolfo Ortiz. Witnesses say around 5 a.m., Ortiz was being escorted out of the home by other family members when he ran, grabbed a gun and fired several shots. Aguado died at the scene.
Inside the home of the shooting was Aguado, his wife, and one child. Ortiz was later located and taken in for questioning. He was then booked for 2nd-degree murder.
The investigation continues.
