A Lincoln woman is facing charges after a stabbing on Tuesday, July 7th at 13th and F Street.
Lincoln Police arrived to find a 33-year-old male with a stab wound to his lower back. He told police that 45-year-old Lisa Beverly had stabbed him during an argument.
The victim and witnesses told police that 45-year-old Lisa Beverly had been acting erratically for about a week and had previously threatened to kill everyone in the victim’s apartment.
Beverly’s boyfriend is the father of the victim stabbed and told police that Beverly had earlier punched him several times. That man had minor injuries to his face and head.
Beverly was booked for 2nd-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony in the assault of the 33year old male. She was also booked for 3rd-degree domestic assault.
