Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 2 am Friday

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for a large portion of Eastern Nebraska until 2 am Friday morning.  The Nebraska Counties include:

ADAMS ANTELOPE BLAINE BOONE BOYD BROWN BUFFALO BUTLER CEDAR CLAY COLFAX CUMING CUSTER DAKOTA DAWSON DIXON DODGE FILLMORE FRANKLIN FURNAS GAGE GARFIELD GOSPER GREELEY HALL HAMILTON HARLAN HOLT HOWARD JEFFERSON KEARNEY KEYA PAHA KNOX LANCASTER LOUP MADISON MERRICK NANCE NUCKOLLS PHELPS PIERCE PLATTE POLK ROCK SALINE SAUNDERS SEWARD SHERMAN STANTON THAYER THURSTON VALLEY WAYNE WEBSTER WHEELER YORK

Isolated severe thunderstorms will be possible late this evening, with the greatest risk of activity occurring in northeast Nebraska and western Iowa. Small hail and damaging winds will be the main threats. Storms are possible between 10 PM and 3 AM. .

Friday through Wednesday A marginal risk of severe weather exists Friday evening in southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa. Hail and damaging winds will be the main hazards. A slight risk of severe weather will be possible again Saturday afternoon in northeast Nebraska. Hail and damaging winds will be the main hazards.

Outside of severe weather, temperatures should be above 90F and possibly approaching 100F on Saturday and Sunday.
