Without playing a single game, Henry Gray is gone.
The freshman early enrollee for Nebraska football has entered the transfer portal. He took to social media Friday saying, “Due to a unanticipated family situation I have entered my name into the transfer portal.”

Spring football only completed two practices before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down all sport activities in mid-March. Head coach Scott Frost said after the first practice that Gray would miss the entire spring with an unspecified injury.
A consensus four-star recruit, Gray was ranked among the nation’s top 250 recruits by Rivals. The Miami native was one of four Florida signees to NU for the 2020 class. His departure means Frost and company can make one more signing before the fall.
Nebraska can begin voluntary athletic activities for a number of sports, including football, on Monday.
