Showers and thunderstorms will be increasing across Eastern and Southeast Nebraska this afternoon and overnight. Some of the storms may have locally heavy rainfall and localized flooding. Severe thunderstorms are not expected.
Severe thunderstorms are possible Saturday evening, especially over northeast Nebraska. The primary hazards are expected to be damaging winds and large hail.
There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms over southeast Nebraska and extreme southwest Iowa Friday afternoon and evening. Localized flooding may also occur from thunderstorms on Friday.
