Lincoln Police are asking for the public’s help locating a vehicle that witnessed a hit-and-run fatality.

Police Officer Erin Spilker says investigators need  to speak to the occupants of a Saturn Outlook present during the hit-and-run that killed  44-year-old Sean Cover the night of March 28th, at the intersection of 38th and Holdredge.

“At this point they have important information that we need and I’m just going to leave it at that,” says Spilker.

The driver of the vehicle that killed Cover was arrested, but Spilker says the crash remains under investigation.

Anyone with more information is encouraged to call police or crime stoppers at (402) 475-3600
