Intoxicated Woman Arrested For Assault After Clawing, Kicking At Officers

An intoxicated woman is arrested for assaulting an officer.

Lincoln Police Officer Luke Bonkieweicz tells says police were called to the intersection of North 30th and U Streets a little before 7 Tuesday night on reports of a woman stumbling in the street.

Once they arrived, they attempted to call a responsible party to pick up the woman, identified as  19-year-old Kendra  Stabler, but she became agitated and began swearing and hurling racial epithets at the officers, at one point even attempting to punch them.

She continued to resist commands and clawed at an officer, causing three scratches on the right side of his face and one down the center of his nose.

Kabler was eventually handcuffed and arrested for 3rd Degree Assault on an Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Minor in Possession of Alcohol.
