The 2018 NSAA Girls State Basketball tournament starts this week in Lincoln. 48 schools from six different classes will compete from March 1-3, with all six championship games being played on Saturday at Pinnacle Bank Arena. All of Saturday’s games will be televised on NET.
Here’s a list of all the games involving schools in the KLIN listening area taking place on Thursday:
Class A
- #1 Millard South vs. #8 Lincoln High, 2 p.m. (Pinnacle Bank Arena)
- #5 Papillion-La Vista vs. #4 Lincoln East, 3:45 p.m (Pinnacle Bank Arena)
- #3 Millard North vs. #6 Lincoln Southwest, 7 p.m. (Pinnacle Bank Arena)
- #7 Lincoln Pius X vs. #2 Westside, 8:45 p.m. (Pinnacle Bank Arena)
Class A semifinals will be played on Friday at 7 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The championship is set for Saturday at 6:30 p.m..
Class B
- #7 Elkhorn South vs. #2 Seward, 10:45 a.m. (Pinnacle Bank Arena)
- #1 Sidney vs. #8 Beatrice, 8:45 p.m. (Bob Devaney Sports Center)
Class B semifinals will be played on Friday at 2 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The championship is set for Saturday at 1 p.m.
Class C1
- #3 Lincoln Christian vs. #6 Auburn, 9 a.m. (Bob Devaney Sports Center)
- #7 Grand Island Central Catholic vs. Bishop Neumann, 10:45 a.m. (Bob Devaney Sports Center)
- #5 Scotus vs. #4 Wahoo, 3:45 p.m (Bob Devaney Sports Center)
Class C1 semifinals will be played on Friday at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The championship is set for Saturday at 9 a.m.
