Lincoln High Recognized As A “School of Opportunity”

Lincoln High is one of eight U.S. public high schools recognized as a “School of Opportunity” by the National Education Policy Center.

Principal Mark Larson says on KLIN’s LNK Today that the center noted Lincoln High’s culture of support for diversity and unity.

Larson says Lincoln High is a welcoming place where they offer programs for all of their students to be successful.

Center officials say the recognized schools serve as examples of how “equitable learning environments can exist right now.” The nonprofit education policy center is located at the University of Colorado- Boulder.
