It began in 2010 with an innocent question asked on "Jack & John in the Morning."
"If Lincoln had a signature food item, what would it be."
One month and several thousand votes later, we got our answer from the KLIN listeners......The Runza Sandwich.....and a tradition was born.
In 2011, the power of the Havelock Mafia was felt as a number of northeast Lincoln institutions ran roughshod over the bracket. In the end, the upstarts from Engine House Cafe mauled the competition, winning each of their four rounds by an average of over 25% of the vote.
But 2012 brings a whole new element to the competition as this time, we narrow our focus in a quest to find the Capital City's best hamburger. Welcome to Munch Madness 3: Burger Wars!
