Bodies Found at Lake Manawa State Park Identified as Missing Mom, Son

The FBI says autopsy results confirm that the bodies of two people found in a western Iowa state park are those of a missing Nebraska woman and her 10-year-old son.

Authorities identified the bodies yesterday as 41-year-old Charlotte Schilling and her son, Owen.

They went missing from their home in Plattsmouth, Neb., on May 10.

Authorities say they may know what caused their death, but are awaiting results before releasing that information.

Results of the investigation could come in the next few days.
