United Way Distributes Thousands of Books

United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County is selected to receive nearly 4,000 books to be distributed. Unite Way President Linda Robinson Rutz says this is one example of United Way’s commitment to supporting literacy for all children in our community.

Students who are at or above grade level at the end of third grade are more likely to graduate on time. And officials say one of the ways to achieve that is to facilitate reading at home.
