Lincoln Man Tased, Arrested After Biting Officer

A Lincoln man is in jail this morning after assaulting an officer.

Lincoln Police Captain Benjamin Kopsa tells KLIN News officers were sent to an apartment complex near the intersection of 27th and Fletcher around 2 p.m. Wednesday on reports of a disturbance.

When they arrived they contacted 27-year-old Micah Reddish.

“When officers were trying to escort him to an area to talk to him about what happened he began to resist officers and ended up biting an officer on the arm,” says Kopsa.

A taser was deployed and Reddish was arrested for third degree assault on an officer.

The officer who was bit suffered minor injuries and was able to return to duty after the incident.
