Weekend Vandalisms Cause $2,800 in Damages, Police Looking for Suspects

Lincoln police are investigating a series of weekend vandalisms that caused over $2,800 in damages.

Officer Angela Sands says the first report of vandalism came in shortly after midnight, Saturday at a residence in the 2400 block of B Street.

“A short time later a series of calls came in reporting vandalisms in the area,” says Sands. “The witness heard glass breaking and saw three men wearing hooded sweatshirts.”

Sands says officers located a total of nine vandalisms between S 22nd and S 25th from A to D Streets where the suspects used rocks to  smash the windows of cars and apartments.

Officers are asking anyone with information to call police or Crimestoppers.
