Light snow and mixed precipitation is possible over the region this morning and afternoon. Significant accumulations are not expected, but a few slick spots are possible on area roadways.
Another winter system will move through the region Wednesday and Thursday. Mixed precipitation is expected with this system, with mainly freezing drizzle in southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa, and snow in northeast Nebraska. Impacts to travel are possible.
Another round of very cold weather will affect the region Wednesday night into Friday morning. Winds gusting up to 30 to 45 mph may push wind chill values to 20 to 35 below zero during this period.
