Placekicker Cole Frahm announced via Twitter that he would be transferring to South Dakota State on Sunday. The sophomore spent 2018 as backup to Barret Pickering. Frahm joined Nebraska in 2017, where he took a redshirt year. He did not appear in any games this past season.
The Omaha Burke product made 26 of his 42 attempts in his high school career, with a long of 39 yards, according to 247sports.com. Besides Pickering, the Huskers will have three other kickers on their roster – Dylan Jorgensen, of Lincoln Southwest high school, Gabe Heins of Kearney, and Noah McCashland, a redshirt freshman.
