Flu Reports Still High In Lincoln

While the worst of the nation’s nasty flu season is finally over….the level of flu activity in Lincoln remains high.

U.S. health officials say that the flu season apparently peaked nationally in early February and has been fading since then.

However, flu activity continues to be widespread in Nebraska. The latest local surveillance shows hospital, provider visits and school flu activity remain elevated in Lincoln. Influenza B virus is now the predominate strain circulating locally.
