A man is in custody for pawning nearly $1,400 worth of items stolen in a burglary earlier in the month. Authorities say the victim, a 30-year-old Lincoln woman, says she was robbed sometime between February 15th – February 17th and police estimate around $7,800 in items were taken.
Investigators soon discovered 35-year-old Matthew Lyons had pawned $1,400 worth of items stolen from the burglary, including a TV and jewelry. A search of his apartment revealed more stolen goods, among them adult toys and clothing. Lyons was arrested for receiving stolen property. The investigation into who burglarized the apartment continues.
