Lincoln Southwest High School Student Lodged For Bringing Realistic BB Gun To School

A student of at Lincoln Southwest High School was lodged at the Lancaster County Youth Services Center yesterday after staff  contacted police about him bringing a realistic-looking BB Gun to school. Lincoln Police Officer Angela Sands says the 15-year-old was hiding the BB gun in his waistband, and showing it off to other students. Officer Sands says the student was lodged for violating probation and referred to a county attorney for possession of a controlled substance and disturbing the peace.
