Police Looking For Suspects After 3 Men Robbed at Gunpoint

Lincoln Police are looking for suspects after three Tecumseh men were robbed at gunpoint Thursday at a parking lot on the 2800 block of Tierra Drive. Lincoln Police Spokeswoman Angela Sands says the three friends, ages 20, 19 and 17, were waiting in their car for a fourth friend to come out of his nearby apartment late Thursday evening. Officer Sands says while waiting, the group was approached by 3 or 4 men. Officer Sands says one of the men opened the passenger door , brandished a handgun, and demanded the group hand over their  belongings.

In total, the robbers got away with an Iphone, and vape-pen cigarette, a notebook and $540 in cash. After giving their belongings to the robbers, the victims fled the scene and called police.

The investigation is ongoing.
